Mrs. Angela "Angie" Smith Dalton

Mrs. Angela “Angie” Smith Dalton, age 52 of Stuart, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 as the result of an automobile accident. She was born in Patrick County on October 27, 1963, and was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Steven Dalton. She was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church, had owned and operated the Preschool Enrichment Program in Patrick County for thirteen years, and was involved with the Patrick County Alzheimer’s Group, LLC. She was a free spirit who loved Harley Davidsons and riding her motorcycle. She loved her daughters and was a loving person who never met a stranger.

Mrs. Dalton is survived by two daughters, Michaela Reneé Dalton and Miranda Haley Dalton, both of Stuart; her parents, James and Sally Clark Smith of Stuart; a brother and sister-in-law, Derick and Peggy Smith of Stuart; a nephew, Patrick Smith of Galax; a great-niece, Evelyn Smith; and a true friend, Larry “Grub” Cassady of Stuart.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Mark Wright and Pastor Butch Dillinger officiating. Burial will follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 noon until time of the service at the funeral home.
