Mrs. Anna Ruth Boles Jones

Mrs. Anna Ruth Boles Jones, age 96 of Mt. Airy, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Twelve Oaks Retirement Center. Mrs. Jones was born in Stokes County, July 17, 1915 to James Joseph and Sadie Joyce Boles. She was a loving, caring grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother who will be dearly missed by her devoted family and many, many friends. Mrs. Jones was a member of Stewarts Creek Primitive Baptist Church. Surviving are grandchildren, Cynthia Kiser of Forney, TX, Sheila Hulett of Stanley, Aaron Arnder of Pfafftown, Teresa McMillan of Walnut Cove, Terry McMillian, Jerry McMillian, Brenda, Linda and Glenda; six great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren and a sister, Ossie Terrell. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband Everett Jones; a daughter, Alene Malcolm, a son, Franklin McMillian; great grandchildren, Jerrico and Kristina; a sister, Mae Greene and a brother, Charlie Boles. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Korner's Grove Primitive Baptist Church by Elder Gary Lowe. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at Moody Funeral Home.
