Mrs. Annette Hazel Conner Butcher

Mrs. Annette Hazel Conner Butcher age 70 of 509 Dunmans Alley, Mt. Airy, NC wife of Rev Doug Butcher passed away Friday, July 19, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born May 28, 1943 in Patrick County, VA to the late Frank Pierce and Dorothy Hooker Conner. She was retired from Kentucky Derby Hosiery and was of the Baptist Faith . Surviving are her husband, Rev. Doug Butcher of the home, three sons, Douglas Wayne Butcher and wife, Rhonda of Cana, VA, Eddie Lee Butcher and wife, Tish Butcher of Mt. Airy, Mikle Butcher and friend, Bobbie Watt of Mt. Airy, six grandchildren, Stacey Shelton and husband, Jeffrey, Cana, VA, Tony Butcher and wife, Stacy, Cana, VA, Nicole Butcher, and Gracie Butcher, Mt. Airy, Daniel James Butcher/Thompson and Samuel Gregory Butcher/Thompson both of Dobson, one great grandchild, Clay Butcher, Cana, VA and a expected great grandchild, Emma Rose. two sisters and a brother-in-law, Betty Jean Conner of Stuart, VA Shirlene and Leon Fain, Stuart, VA, two brothers, Herbert Conner and wife, Tina Marie Conner of Stuart, VA and Burton Conner and friend, Lisa Hylton, Stuart, VA, Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at New Hope United Methodist Church, on Clark House Farm Road in Stuart, VA. The service will be conducted by Rev. Mark Collins. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 Monday night at Moody Funeral Home in Mt.Airy, NC.
