Mrs. Annie Laura Richardson Easter

Mrs. Annie Laura Richardson Easter, age 70, of Cana, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at Trinity Mission. Mrs. Easter was born in Carroll County on December 28, 1946, to William Huston and Ethel Philips Richardson. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed. Surviving is her husband, Robert Easter; daughters, Rose Easter and fiancé, Chad, and Robin Hunt and husband, Jeff; grandchildren, David Scales, Skylar Scales, and Beth Hunt; a sister, Irene Moxley and a brother, Berlie Richardson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Easter was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Brenda Gaye Easter; and brothers, James and Clinton Richardson. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 1, 2017, Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. David Sechrist and the Rev. Oscar Hill. The family will receive friends at the church Friday night from 6:00 to 8:00. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Rose Easter, P.O. Box 74, Ararat, VA 24053 to assist with funeral expenses.
