Mrs. Annie Mae Draughn Jones

Mrs. Annie Mae Draughn Jones, 73, of Mt. Airy passed away Monday, October 16, 2017 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born in Surry County on February 5, 1944 to the late Arthur and Agnes Browder Draughn. Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by a sister, Glenda Hunt; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert Draughn and Wanda; and a half-brother, Danny Draughn. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, John Garnet Jones; a sister, Mary Inman; and a brother, Raymond Draughn. Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Sandy Ridge Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Greg Jenkins officiating.
