Mrs. Barbara Gail Massey Collins

Mrs. Barbara Gail Massey Collins, age 53 of Stuart, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was born in Patrick County on March 7, 1963. She had been a CNA and was a member of Christian Faith Baptist Church. Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by her husband, William “Jim” Collins and a son, William “Rusty” Collins.

Mrs. Collins is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, David W. and Dawna Hubbard of Jacksonville, Arkansas; her parents, Clyde A. and Hazel Scott Massey of Stuart; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn and Doug Morris, Deborah Hubbard, Angie and Eddie Cockerham, all of Stuart; four nieces, three nephews, three great-nieces and three great-nephews; and a special friend, Tim Daniels of Fieldale.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Richard Dodson officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Woolwine Volunteer Fire Department, P.O.
