Mrs. Barbara Allison "Bobbie" Honeycutt Easter, age 50 of Mt. Airy passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem. Mrs. Easter was born in High Point, NC on October 16, 1960 to the late Edward Dalton and Ina Faye Minor Honeycutt. Mrs. Easter was a homemaker "domestic engineer" and of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by her husband, Doug Easter of the home; the loving mother of Amy Edwards and her husband, Michael of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Cheyenne and Dakota Edwards; a brother, David Earl Honyecutt of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; uncle, Jerry and wife, Patty Minor of Cana, VA; special cousins, Debby Welborn, Mark Flannery, Teresa Fogleman and Kyle Flannery; special friends and neighbors, Shirley and Gilbert Bolen. The family would like to express their appreciation to Regina Waddell, caregiver; and Dr. Baynard Powell and his staff at WFBMC for the excellent care they gave "Bobbie" during her illness. A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at 3:00 pm at Floral Gardens in High Point by Rev. James Quesinberry and Dink Haynes. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home on Monday night September 12, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.
