Mrs. Beadie Gay Light Turner

Mrs Beadie Gay Light Turner, age 88 of Stuart, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2007 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 19, 1918 in Patrick County to the late Albert "Abb" Jackson Light and Dollie Handy Light. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William English Turner; a son L.E. Turner; three brothers, Raymond Light, Clifford Light, and Camden Light; three sisters, Bessie Reynolds, Elsie Light, and Maybud Light and a step-grandson, Timmy Shough. She was retired from United Elastic and attended Dobyns Primitive Baptist Church.

Mrs. Turner is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; Eulee and Helen Turner of Bassett, Ralph Turner of Stuart, and Dorothy Turner (wife of the late, L.E. Turner) of Stuart; a daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Winfred Hylton of Stuart; three grandchildren, Iris Bryant, Brenda Turner, and J.L. Hylton; three step-grandchildren, J.B. Shough, Carolyn Young, and Michael Shough; two great-grandchildren, Justin Hylton and William Hylton; three step great-grandchildren, Kristie Shough, Amy Young, and Jason Shough; a step great great granddaughter, Zoie Shough and two sisters, Edna Hughes and Grace Turner both of Stuart.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Turner will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at 2:00PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart with Elder Donnie Conner officiating. Burial will follow in the Community Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel and at other times at the home of her daughter-in-law, Dorothy Turner.
