Mrs. Bernice Leake Justice

Mrs. Bernice Leake Justice, age 86 of Stuart passed away Monday, July 20, 2009 at the Blue Ridge Nursing Center in Stuart. She was born in Stokes County, North Carolina on June 29, 1923 to the late Leonard J. and Lois Chilton Leake. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Justice was preceded in death by seven brothers, Ned, Bob, Aubrey, Glouchester, Jim, Jeff and P.J. Leake; and one sister, Fleta Mae Leake. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Justice is survived by her husband, Luther Cecil Justice, Sr. of the home; one daughter, Margaret Sharon Silva of Stuart and one son, Luther Cecil Justice, Jr. of Loves Park, Illinois; four grandchildren, Tiffany Irvin, Cecilia Fowler, Jill Dryfhout and Christopher Silva; and five great-grandchildren, Justice Fowler, Tyler Irvin, Zachery Dryfhout, Kyle Dryfhout and Keilana Irvin.
Funeral services for Mrs. Justice will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor David Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Henry Memorial Park.
