Mrs. Bertie Pauline Watson

Mrs. Bertie Pauline Billings Watson. Age 82, of Dobson, NC a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on Thursday January 12, 2012 at her home. She was born in Wilkes County on August 24, 1929 to the late Christina Billings. She was a homemaker and worked as a CNA for Surry Friends of Seniors. She was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her husband Ray Watson; father-in-law and mother-in-law John and Minnie Watson; great grandchild Chloe Ann Gentry. Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law Linda and Bill Boyd of Mt. Airy, Wanda and James Gentry of Dobson, Cathy and Wade Morton of Dobson; three sons and two daughters-in-law Bobby and Frances Billings of Dobson, Larry Watson of the home, Garry and Hilda Watson of Dobson; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday January 14, 2012, with burial to follow in Little Vine Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Michael Gentry, Rev. James Gentry and Rev. Joey Lane will conduct the services. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson on Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
