Mrs. Betty Mae Goins Anthony

Mrs. Betty Mae Goins Anthony age 71 of 308 Teacup Lane, Lowgap, NC wife of Mr. Louis Anthony passed away Monday, July 8, 2013 at her home. She was born January 6, 1942 in Patrick County, VA to the late Robert and Clara Pack Goins. She was retired from Spencer's Inc. and was a homemaker. Surviving are her husband, Louis Anthony of the home, two daughters and a son-in-law, Lois and Aaron Akers, Catawba, Doris Snow and friend, Robert McCarther, Charlotte, two sons, Robert Anthony and friend, Sandy Collins, and James Anthony all of Lowgap, nine grandchildren, Lee Akers, Tabathia Anthony, William Anthony, Chris Anthony , Tesea Brierley, Mike Wilson, Jimmy Wilson, Clayton Wilson and Melissa Wilson, eleven great grandchildren. a sister, and brother-in-law, Myrtle and Sam Gravely, Mt. Airy, and Reid and Louise Goins, Danbury, three half brothers, Lewis Willard, Dobson, Troy Willard, Wisnton-Salem and Charles Willard, Danbury. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Anthony was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Wilson. The family will receive friends 6-8 Pm Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Moody Funeral Home. There will be no formal funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Western Carolina Chapter, 3800 Shamrock Drive, S99, Charlotte, NC 28215-3220.
