Mrs. Betty Lorene Martin

Mrs. Betty Lorene Martin, age 74 of Westfield, North Carolina passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Stokes-Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Danbury. She was born in Wilkes County, North Carolina on August 18, 1935. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Herman Martin, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Baldwin. Mrs. Martin had retired from DuPont in Martinsville.
Mrs. Martin is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Karen Young and Noel Young, Sr. of Westfield, North Carolina, and two "granddogs", Walter and Jasmine.
A graveside service for Mrs. Martin will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Martin Family Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to PAWS, (Patrick Animal Welfare Society), P.O.
