Mrs. Betty Jane Leinart Plowman

Mrs. Betty Jane Leinart Plowman, age 93 of Ferrum, Virginia passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Blue Ridge Nursing Center. She was born in York County, Pennsylvania on December 12, 1922 to the late Ervin Leinart and Bertha Altland Leinart. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth William Plowman, and three siblings, Jay Leinart, Eileen Bretzman, and Leroy Leinart.

Mrs. Plowman is survived by three children, William Thomas Plowman, Constance Ann Gentzler and husband, Richard, and Gayle Dawn McTighe and husband, Rory; seven grandchildren, Tere Aldinger, Robin Plowman, Richard Gentzler, Jr., Jyl Levenstein, Cynamon Chawla, Molly Metz and Kevin McTighe; eight great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
