Mrs. Beulah E. Steele

Mrs. Beulah Erna Tucker Steele, age 91 of Lawsonville, NC passed away Tuesday morning at Stokes-Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Danbury, NC. She was born in Stokes County, NC on Dec. 9, 1918 to the late Stonewall Jackson Tucker and Nannie Belle Sands Tucker. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Realus Edward Steele; two brothers, Harry and Woodrow Tucker; and three sisters, Phoebe Martin, Lois Shockley, and Hazel Martin. Mrs. Steele was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are eight children and their families, R.E. and Synthia Steele of Mayodan, NC and Jerry, Kaye, Adam, Demi, Mitzi, Tony, Michael, and Mitchell; Ronnie and Judith Steele of Patrick Springs and Cheryl, Bill, Raechel and Rebekah; Dale and Donna Steele of Lawsonville, NC and Kenneth, Linda, Brandi, Devin, Briana, Sadie, Gwen, Miranda, Katie, Braylon, Randy, Angie, Cheyenne, Courtney, Kody, and Jacob; Reggie and Sharon Steele of Lawsonville, NC and April, Mike, and Amy; Sharon and Cecil Wilson of Lawsonville, NC and Darrell, Suzanne, Justin, Dennis, Joan, Brandon, and Brad; Brenda and Mike Young of Lawsonville, NC and Kristi, Darryn, and Jodi; Kay and Danny Glad of Stuart and Matthew, Jessica, Travis, and Jeffrey; Rhonda Steele and Jerry Bullins of Lawsonville, NC and Rocko.
Funeral services will be held Thursday Sept. 23, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Rev. Reggie Steele, Dr. Jerry Whitlow, and Elder Mike Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Peters Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 at the funeral home and at other times at her home, 1058 NC 704 Hwy E.
