Mrs. Billyken Nell Chilton Thompson

Mrs. Billyken Nell Chilton Thompson, 78 of Clemmons passed away Thursday, December 6, 2012 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem. She was born in Surry County on November 30, 1934 to the late William Oliver and Myrtle Hall Chilton. Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker and was a member of Clemmons Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Robert Thompson of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Ann Thompson, Bob and Susan Thompson all of Clemmons; two grandchildren, LeighAnn Thompson and Robert Thompson both of Clemmons; a special friend, Sadie Spaugh of Winston Salem. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by two sisters, Dell Inman and Wanda Stevens; one brother, Lewis Chilton. A graveside service will be held Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 3:00 PM at New Venture Baptist Church with Rev. Bailey Nelson officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Kate B.
