Mrs. Bonnie Carolyn Haynes Dalton

Mrs. Bonnie Carolyn Haynes Dalton, age 72, of Mt. Airy passed away Thursday night, July 27, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem. She was born in Surry County on November 10, 1944 to the late Troy Lee Haynes and Mary “Tince” Pierce Murray Haynes. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed by all that knew her. Left to cherish her memory are two daughters and a son-in-law, Vickie Huff, and Tonya and Stephen Tolbert; a son and daughter-in-law, Lewis Wyatt Dalton, Jr. and Sandra; grandchildren, Nicholas Huff, Austin Huff, Holden Huff, Matthew Dalton, Daniel Dalton, Kim Woods, Colton J. Tolbert, Brittany Jade Tolbert, Angela Cruz, and Maricella Cruz; great-grandchildren, Colby Sizemore, Macie Tolbert, and Elijah Huff; brothers, Danny Lee Haynes, Pete Haynes, and Larry Haynes; and a very special friend, Pamela Bradley. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dalton was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Wyatt Dalton, Sr; and a sister, Betty Haynes. A funeral service will be held Monday, July 31, 2017 at 2:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The family will receive friends on Sunday night, July 30, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
