Mrs. Brenda Kay Richardson

Mrs. Brenda Kay Burcham Richarsdon, 66 of Lowgap passed away at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson on Wednesday, May 22, 2013. She was born on December 27, 1946 in Grayson County, VA to the late Wash Banks Burcham and Bertie Lear Williams Burcham. Mrs. Richardson is survived by her husband, Billy Gray Richardson of the home; two daughters and a son-in-law, Teresa Kay Richardson of Lowgap, Crystal and Randy Hutchens of Yadkinville; grandchildren, Tonia Rene Edwards, Kristin Gray Myers, Cynthia Bryanna Richarson; step grandchild, Destiny Chase Hutchens; great grandchildren, Colton Gray Parrish, Kamdin Gray Myers and Ryleigh Lynn Myers; a brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nelson and Shirley Burcham; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William McKinley Richarsdon, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dean Richardson, Mr. Douglas Richardson, Mr. and Mrs. Omer Lowe and Mr. and Mrs. James Winford Richardson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Corina Johnson and Estelene and Tommy Smith. Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by a sister, Nannie Lou Hawks and a brother, Billy Dean Burcham. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Atkins officiating. Burial will follow in Fisher Gap Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy on Friday, May 24, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
