Mrs. Carol Bengtson Larsen

Mrs. Carol Bengtson Larsen, 75, of Stuart passed away Thursday evening at her home. She was born on July 25, 1934 in Hopkinton Massachusetts to the late Carl E. and Dorothy Vynal Bengtson. She was a member of Stuart United Methodist Church, a dental hygienist, a homemaker, Mom, and was a founding member of the Patrick County Scarlet O' Hats and a volunteer at the R.J. Reynolds Patrick County Memorial Hospital for over 30 years. Mrs. Larsen was also preceded in death by a sister; Florence Marie Larsen.
Surviving Mrs. Larsen are her husband Ralph Larsen, three daughters and son-in-laws; Judith L. and Marshal McCord III of Christiansburg, VA , Karen Leigh and John Alexander IV of Pfafftown, N.C. and Kristen Marie and Gene Sizemore of Liberty, N.C., Six grandchildren; David McCord, Kristy McCord, Lacie Conley, Tina Norton, Zach Alexander and Carl Andrew Norton and one great grandchild; Conley Massey.
A memorial service for Mrs. Larsen will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday July 13 at Stuart United Methodist Church with Rev. Tommy Sheppard officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until time for the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Stuart United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O.
