Mrs. Charlene Harrison Williams

Mrs. Charlene Harrison Williams of Mt. Airy passed away August 6, 2012. She was born in Surry County on December 14, 1929 to the late James Hugh and Etta Newman Harrison. Mrs. Williams was retired from Renfro Hosiery Mill. She is survived by one sister, Ernestine H. Galyean and her husband Gene of Norfolk, VA. One niece Patty Puckett and her husband, Jimmy of Mooresville, NC; two nephews, Daniel Quesinberry and his wife, Jan of of Winston Salem, David Galyean and his wife, Felicia of Chesapeake, VA; three great nieces, Tammy Puckett of Orlando, FL, Vickie Parcell of Winston Salem, and Alicia Saunders of Charlotte; two great nephews, Mark Puckett of Chesapeake, Mike Puckett of Winston Salem, NC; four great-great nieces, Clara Puckett, Heather Puckett, Chloe Parcell and Savannah Saunders; one great-great nephew, Dylan Parcell and a good and devoted friend, Norma Haynes of Mt. Airy. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Jonathan Doss held at Union Hill Friends Church on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 2:00 PM. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy will be assisting the Williams Family.
