Mrs. CLara Lorraine Creakman

Mrs. Clara Lorraine Mozingo Creakman, 87, of Mt. Airy passed away August 6, 2016 at Central Continuing Care in Mt. Airy. She was born in Wayne County on September 26, 1928 to the late John William and Margaret Rebecca Letha Ann Thompson Mozingo. Mrs. Creakman retired from Developmental Day Care in High Point and was of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by daughters, Lea Ann Creakman of Thomasville, Teresa Gail Teague of Archdale; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Wayne Creakman and Cassondra of Thomasville; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a niece, Sandy Leftwich; and two special nieces, Robbie Harris and Susan Ayers who have served as caregivers since Mrs. Creakman’s stay in Mt. Airy. In addition to her parents Mrs. Creakman was preceded in death by a son, Michael Dennis Mozingo; two sisters and two brothers.
