Mrs. Clemmie Boyd Stultz, age 84 of Stuart, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2012 at Pioneer Community Hospital in Stuart. She was born in Patrick County on May 3, 1928 to the late Zelotes and Annie Pendleton Boyd. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stultz was preceded in death by her first husband, Vance Conner, two brothers and three sisters. She had been a member of the Smith River Rescue Squad Auxiliary for 25 years, and had attended Sycamore Baptist Church. She loved her family, flowers and birds.
Mrs. Stultz is survived by her husband, John H. Stultz of the home; five daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and Hansel Bowling of Woolwine, Belle and Edward Pendleton of Stuart, Sue Conner of Stuart, Ellen and Charles Hylton of Stuart and Barbara and Larry Hughes of Woolwine; three sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Katie Boyd of Stuart, Richard and Becky Conner of Stuart and Randy and Debby Conner of Woolwine; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild; two sisters, Bertie Conner of Patrick Springs and Lena Hylton of Stuart.
A graveside service for Mrs. Stultz will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Jack's Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Gerald Melton officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Smith River Rescue Squad, P.O.
