Mrs. Connie Faye Human Mitchell

Mrs. Connie Faye Human Mitchell, age 67 of Spencer, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016 at her home. She was born in Forsyth County, North Carolina on February 15, 1948. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Eric Simon Payne and her parents, Rexford P. Human and Betty Ramona Ridings Human.

Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her longtime companion and caregiver, Daniel W. Reynolds of the home; two sons, Jeffrey Frank Smith of Spencer and Daniel Scot Smith of Stuart; one daughter, Angela Faye Marshall of Stuart; four grandchildren, Trenton Jeffrey Smith, John Kirby Smith, Lucy Nicole Forbuss, Jerrie Deal; two great-granddaughters, Taylor Dawn Payne, Destiny Deal; and one great-great-granddaughter, Erika Payne.

A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the home at 30 Pine Knoll Drive, Spencer, Virginia. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is in charge of the arrangements. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
