Mrs. Cora Belle Dalton Lawson

Mrs. Cora Belle Dalton Lawson, age 80 of Stuart, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013 at Twin County Regional Hospital in Galax. She was born in Patrick County on April 23, 1932 to the late Frank and Edna West Dalton. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lawson was preceded in death by her husband, Edward "Ray" Lawson. She was an avid gardener, wonderful cook, had been the owner/operator of Stuart Florist, and had worked at United Elastic.
Mrs. Lawson is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Blane and Pamela Lawson of Stuart; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lauren Rae and Glenn Wyatt of Louisville, Kentucky, Suzanne and Darrell Wilson of Stuart; four grandchildren, Tiffany Lawson, Justin Wilson, Aaron Lawson and Kellen Lawson; three brothers, Owen Dalton of Laurel Fork, Jack Dalton of Stuart and Phil Dalton of Meadows of Dan; one sister, Iva Newman of Lynchburg; and special caregiver, Bonnie Goad.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lawson will be held Monday, March 25, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart.
