Mrs. Della Rosetta Noah

Mrs. Della Rosetta Poteat Noah, 94, of Mt. Airy passed away surrounded by her loving family Sunday, May 22, 2016 at her home. She was born in Surry County on September 10, 1921 to the late Martin Andrew and ElvaVirginia Kirkman Poteat. She was a homemaker and seamstress. Mrs. Noah attended Mt. Airy Church of God. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Lloyd and Rebecca Noah, Floyd and Jessica Noah, Randall and Luenell Noah; grandchildren, Vanessa Noah, David Noah and Kim Hood and husband, Van; a great granddaughter, Emily Hood; two sisters, Nannie Belle Ward and Louella Day. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Noah was preceded in death by her husband, Romney Cornelius Noah, two brothers, Tollie Poteat and Claude Poteat. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Skyline Memory Gardens with Chaplain Kevin Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy on Wednesday from 9:30 AM until the time to leave for the service.
