Mrs. Della Marie Sisk

Mrs. Della Marie Sisk, age 72 of Vesta, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2012 at the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was born in Patrick County on August 20, 1939 to the late Moten and Julie Keith Thompson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sisk was preceded in death by her first husband, Curtis Howell; four sisters, Sena Pack, Minnie Stevens, Eunice Tilley and Linda Hall; and one brother, Ray Thompson. She was a member of Vesta Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Mrs. Sisk is survived by her husband, William M. Sisk of the home; four sons, Ronnie Howell of Henry, Mike Howell of Stuart, Ricky Howell of Claudville and Jerry Howell of Bassett; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Howell of Vesta and Lola Haskins of Stuart; and one brother, Nelson Thompson of Ararat.
Funeral services for Mrs. Sisk will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Vesta Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Jonathan Goins and Rev. Billy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Hooker Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from noon until the time of the service at the church.
