Mrs. Dolores Patricia "Pat" Richmond

Mrs. Dolores Patricia "Pat" Richmond, age 82 formerly of Vandalia, OH passed away at Golden Living Nursing Home Thursday, August 30, 2012. Mrs. Richmond was born in Dallas, TX on December 7, 1929 to the late Dr. Carl Brady and Alice Pruitt McKinney. She Retired from Dolly Toy Company and was of the Methodist Faith. Mrs. Richmond is survived by a daughter, Judy and Carl Goodwin of Oceana, CA; two sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Margaret Houston of Bronson, TX, Jackie and Sarah Houston of Mt. Airy; five grandchildren, Scott, Daniel and Jeffery Houston of Houston, TX, Samantha Houston Reid of Kernersville, NC, Annie Houston Monsour of Charlotte; twenty great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Lena McKinney of Dallas, TX. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Richmond was preceded in death by her husband, Burton Richmond; an infant son, Lanny Houston; a sister, Edith Jane Price; two brothers, Robert Pruitt McKinney and Carl Brady "Mac" McKinney, Jr. A graveside service will be conducted at Skyline Memory Gardens 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 with the Rev. Kevin Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy from 1:00 PM until the time to leave for the service.
