Mrs. Dora Lee Reynolds Tatum, age 83 of Stuart passed away Monday morning, December 29, 2008 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, NC. She was born on June 22, 1925 in Patrick County to the late Edward Lee Reynolds and Lillie Cobb Reynolds. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Tatum; one grandson, Wyndale Tatum; and two brothers, Randolph and Richard Reynolds. Mrs. Tatum was a member of New Hope Baptist Church where she served as Usher.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Calvin and Doris Tatum of Windsor, CT; four daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Art Beverly of Virginia Beach, Deborah and Raymond Johnson of Falls Church, LaVerne Tatum of Alexandria, Virginia Mae and Bill Bolton of Austell, GA; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Douglas and Rita Reynolds of Batesville, Moses and Tommy Reynolds both of Patrick Springs; and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Era and Johnnie Penn of Spencer and Margaret Penn of Patrick Springs.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart with Rev. Franklin Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in the Patrick Memorial Gardens.
