Mrs. Doris Mae Daniel Marshall

Mrs. Doris Mae Daniel Marshall, age 77, of Lambsburg, VA, passed away peacefully on Monday afternoon July 31, 2017 surrounded by her loving family at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. Marshall was born in Carroll County on September 16, 1939 to the late Otto and Cartie Spencer Daniel. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister who will be dearly missed by all that knew her. Mrs. Marshall is survived by her husband, James Claude Marshall; a daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Terry Puckett; granddaughter, Tiffany and Wes Johnson; grandson, Cory and Tamika Puckett; great-grandchildren, Hunter Johnson, Annsley Puckett, Haston Puckett, Kaden Puckett, and Cameron Puckett; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois Golding, Rebecca and Lonnelle Hiatt, Jeanette and Rubert Bryant; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by a brother, Neal Franklin Daniel; and an infant sister. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Fellowship Tabernacle in Lambsburg with Rev. Donald Bryant officiating. Mrs. Marshall will lie-in-state thirty minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday night, August 2, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd., Dobson, NC 27017.
