Mrs. Doris Rorrer Rose

Mrs. Doris Rorrer Rose, age 76 and formerly of Woolwine passed away Monday, September 2, 2013 in Ohio. She was born on March 25, 1937 in West Virginia to the late Beamer and Lillie Mitchem Rorrer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Lee Rose; two sisters, Mary Ellen Roberts, Lucille Rorrer; and one brother, George Samuel Rorrer. She had worked in Sales at Fashion 220 in Aurora, OH.
Surviving are two sons and daughters in law, Michael Scott Rose, Timothy Lee and Terri Rose all of Aurora, OH; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; two sisters; Mattie Lou Perry of N. Augusta, SC, Joann Minnick of Bassett; and three brothers, Paul Rorrer of Martinsville, Jimmy Rorrer of Woolwine, and Jackie Rorrer of China.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Sycamore Baptist Church with Rev. Gerald Melton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is handling the arrangements.
