Mrs. Dorothy Rorrer Morrison

Mrs. Dorothy Rorrer Morrison, age 73 of Stuart passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Pioneer Community Hospital. She was born in Patrick County on April 16, 1938 to the late Thomas Cephus Rorrer and Hester Adkins Rorrer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis G. Morrison and two great grandchildren. She retired from Bassett Walker with over 25 years of service and was a faithful member of Jesus Saves Baptist Church.
Mrs. Morrison is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Delano Morrison of Stuart and Rickey Morrison and wife, Penny of Stuart; a daughter and son-in-law, Donna M. Fain and husband, Larry of Stuart; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; four brothers, Robert Rorrer of Mayodan, John Rorrer of Stuart, William Rorrer of Stuart and Delmas Rorrer of Stuart; a sister, Margie Ann Wood of Stuart and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Rorrer will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 11:00 am at Jesus Saves Baptist Church with Pastors Delmas Rorrer and William Rorrer officiating. Burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friend Tuesday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart.
