Mrs. Edith Pack Conner

Mrs. Edith Pack Conner, age 68 of Vesta, passed away Monday, February 12, 2007 at R. J. Reynolds Patrick County Memorial Hospital in Stuart. She was born in Patrick County on May 11, 1938 to the late Sanford and Lizzie Hooker Pack. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Conner was preceded in death by her husband, Lois Conner, and two sons, Lonnie Hylton and Danny Hylton. She was retired from the Dietary Department at R. J. Reynolds Patrick County Memorial Hospital, and was a member of Vesta Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Mrs. Conner is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, David and Georgette Hylton of Vesta and Larry Hylton from Stuart; one daughter and son-in-law, Tina and C. W. Kemp of Galax; six grandchildren; Scottie Hylton, Kevin Kemp, Danielle Kemp, Madison Kemp, Seth Hylton and Rachael Kemp; and one sister, Ellen Howell of Burlington, North Carolina.
Funeral services for Mrs. Conner will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Vesta Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Jonathan Goins officiating. Burial will follow in the Hooker Family Cemetery.
