Mrs. Edith Annie McKamey Craddock

Mrs. Edith Annie McKamey Craddock, age 90 of Stuart, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Pioneer Community Hospital in Stuart. She was born in McDowell County, West Virginia on March 12, 1923 to the late S.H. and Rhoda Frazier McKamey. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Craddock was preceded in death by three brothers, Earl, Edgar and Richard McKamey. She was a member of Providence United Methodist Church. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt and friend who held her family together.
Mrs. Craddock is survived by her husband of 72 years, Otis Craddock of the home; two daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara and James D. Boothe of Bassett and Evon Bumberger of Wilmington, Delaware; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Rorrer of Patrick Springs and Helen Taylor of Stuart.
Funeral services for Mrs. Craddock will be held Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor David Westmoreland officiating. Burial will follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, and at other times at the home.
