Mrs. Edna Marie Hall Hawks

Mrs. Edna Marie Hall Hawks, 82, of Lowgap, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was born in Carroll County on July 8, 1934 to the late Elmer J. Hall and Mary Myrtle Hawks Hall. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of twenty five years, Roger M. “Pinto” Hawks; her daughter, Susie Hawks Webb and her husband, Jim; step-daughters, Sandra Fisher and husband Clint, and Kimberly Robertson; step-sons, Rodney and Wanda Hawks, Ronald and Rhonda Hawks, Randy Hawks, and Eric Hawks; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Annie Hall Burcham and Erma Hall Radford and husband Tom; and a brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Mary Hall. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hawks was preceded in death by her son, Archie Ray Hawks; and three brothers, Paul Hall, Wayne Hall, and Harold Hall. A Celebration of Life visitation will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
