Mrs. Edna Ruth Goins Willard

Mrs. Edna Ruth Goins Willard, 90, of Mt. Airy passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Twelve Oaks Living Community. She was born in Patrick County, VA May 7, 1927 to the late James Harrison and Alice Ann Willard Goins. She is survived by her daughters, Glenda Goodwill and Betty Ruth Willard; and sons, Clifford, “Gene” Willard, Dale Willard and Leroy Willard; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Willard was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Willard; daughters, Betty Lou Willard, Virginia Willard, and Joan Marie Gregg; sons, William , Buddy, and Ray Willard; grandson, Marvin Young; sisters, Thelma Wright, Minnie Snuggs, Gladys Bowman, Mable Bowman and Zelda Baldwin; brothers, Hanable, Claude, Henry and Buddy Goins.
