Mrs. Effie Wall Vogler

Mrs. Effie Wall Vogler Age 89 of Mt. Airy, NC. passed away Monday, September 24, 2012 at the Alamance Health Care in Burlington. Mrs. Vogler was born in Surry County on January 6, 1923 to the late Roby and Agnes Edwards Wall; she was a homemaker and assisted her husband Sparky in the family business Vogler's Appliance Sales and Service. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law Nancy V. and Charles Bateman of Burlington, one son and daughter-in-law John "Jay" Vogler and Gray Simmons Vogler of Franklin, TN., six grandchildren John Bateman, Charlotte B. Anderson, Polly V. Moss, Kari V. Brown, Alison V. Hunter and Sarah V. Patton, eight great grandchildren, six sisters Thelma Simpson of Mt. Airy, Ila Key of Greensboro, Eva Vogler of Greensboro, Vicie McHone of Rural Hall, Irene Johnson of Mt. Airy and Janie Vogler of Mt. Airy and one brother Willis Wall of Mt. Airy. In addition to her parents Mrs. Vogler was preceded in death by her husband William E. "Sparky" Vogler and by a brother James Wall. Funeral services will be held Friday September 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Rev. Justin Nelson with entombment to follow in the Skyline Memory Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Friday from 9:30 AM until time for the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
