Mrs. Elaine Woodall Corns

Mrs. Elaine Woodall Corns, age 75 of Stuart, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at her home. She was born in Patrick County on April 11, 1932 to the late Rufus Claude and Minnie Hudson Woodall. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Corns was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Edward Corns, twin son and daughter, Barry Corns and Beverly Corns; and three brothers, Alvin, Marion and Johnny Woodall. She was retired from J.P. Stevens United Elastic Corporation, and was a member of White Dove Baptist Church.
Mrs. Corns is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Joy and Sammie Griffin of Stuart; Connie and Daryle Martin of Collinsville and Kay and Garland Roberts of Stuart; two grandchildren, Matthew Griffin and Kaitlyn Martin; one sister, Grace Martin of Stuart; and one brother, Bobby Woodall of Roanoke.
Funeral services for Mrs. Corns will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor William Rorrer officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
