Mrs. Eleandor Sehen Young

Mrs. Eleandor Sehen Young, age 86 of Collinsville, passed away Monday, September 3, 2012 at her home. She was born in West Virginia on June 17, 1926 to the late Burton and Faye Sehen. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Edward "Tom" Young; one son, David Knowles; three brothers, Harvey, Wesley and Elmer Sehen; and a sister, Agnes Marie Sehen. She was a member of Villa Heights Baptist Church in Martinsville, and had retired from DuPont.
Mrs. Young is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Y. and Robert M. Simpson of Collinsville; one daughter-in-law, Carolyn Knowles of Eagle River, Alaska; five grandchildren, Margaret Pease, Kathryn Knowles, Thomas Meadows, Christopher Meadows and Amanda Simpson; two brothers, Carl Sehen of Meadows of Dan and John Sehen of Dobson, North Carolina; two sisters, Shirley Lott of Vesta and Hazel Martin of Bassett; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Young will be held Friday, September 7, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart. Burial will follow in the Knowles-Eden Cemetery.
