Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty" Bailey

Mrs. Elizabeth Charlotte "Betty" Bailey, age 84 of Meadows of Dan passed away Tuesday at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. She was born on March 13, 1925 in New York to the late Jesse Heath and Wilhelminia Hinesman Heath. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Herman Bailey; one son, Dennis Bailey; one sister, Nora Seery; and one brother, Elwood Heath. Mrs. Bailey was a life member of VFW Post 8467 Women's Auxiliary.
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Ann Musil of Meadows of Dan; three sons, James F. Bailey and Thomas B. Bailey both of Meadows of Dan, Timothy M. Bailey of Wilkes-Barre, PA; and two granddaughters, Allison Bailey and Melissa Bailey.
Funeral services will be private.
