Mrs. Elizabeth P. Courtney, age 66 of Woolwine, formerly of Oakridge, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at her home. She was born in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Stuart Warren Scott and Catherine Greenley Scott. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Scott and a sister, Jean Scott. Mrs. Courtney was a graduate of Florence State University in Alabama. She was a co-founder of the Blue Ridge Arts and Theater Society and founded the improvisational theater group called Lethal Business, Inc. which preformed at dinner theaters.
Mrs. Courtney is survived by her husband, Hugh Courtney, and a brother, James Scott of Atlanta, GA.
A memorial service will be held Monday, May 14, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Stuart Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers donations may
