Mrs. Elizabeth Kay Marshall

Mrs. Elizabeth Kay Cassell Marshall Age 68 of 167 Maple Dr. Mt. Airy passed away Thursday, September 15, 2011 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. Mrs. Marshall was born October 3, 1942 in Surry County to the late Henry Louis and Ann Shackleford Cassell, she was retired from sales and attended Closer Walk Baptist Church. Surviving are four daughters and sons-in-law Beth and Herb Bennett, Fran McCraw and Pam Dunning all of Mt. Airy and Rosie and John NacNac of Washington State, four sons and daughters-in-law Mark and Becky McCraw of Ohio, Vince and Nichole McCraw and Russ McCraw all of Mt. Airy and Bobby McCraw of Yadkinville, Twenty-Two grandchildren, Thirteen great grandchildren and by two sisters Janie Hodges of Mt. Airy and Judy Emerson of Ohio. In addition to her parents Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her first husband William Roby McCraw, her second husband Buddy Gray Marshall and by two sons Billy McCraw and Roby McCraw. Funeral services will be held Sunday September 18, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Closer Walk Baptist Church with services conducted by the Rev. Doug Cockerham with burial to follow in the Old Hollow Primitive Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until time for the service at the church.
