Mrs. Elizabeth Ann "Pete" Moser

Mrs. Elizabeth Ann "Pete" Moser, age 80, of Dobson, NC Passed away on Wednesday night January 18, 2012 at Golden Living Center, in Mt. Airy. She was born on November 5, 1931 in Surry County to the late Gaston and Electia Ball Marion. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Van Hoyt Moser; one son Brent Church; brother Jack Marion; step grandson Blue Golden. She attended Liberty Baptist Church, had worked as a waitress and cook , and was a homemaker, and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Surviving are her daughter Brenda Jenkins of Dobson; step-daughter Susan Golden of Mt. Airy; sons Michael Church of Wheeling, WVa, Bruce Church of Winder, Georgia; step-son Kim Moser of Rock Hill, SC; sister and brother-in-law Peggy and Dub Golding of Lowgap; brothers and sister-in-law Jim and Effie Marion of Mt. Airy, Ronnie Marion of Mt. Airy; special friends James and Claudine Quesinberry, Brandy Mayes, and Sandra Walker. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday January 22, 2012 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Dobson City Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Tucker and Rev. Dan Buie will conduct the service. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 7 until 9 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson. The Family has requested that in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Golding Living Center 542 Aldred Mill Rd. Mt. Airy, NC 27030 or to the Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care 401 Technology Lane Suite 200 Mt. Airy, NC 27030. The family would also like to give a special thanks to Tina Leonard.
