Mrs. Emma T. Doss

Mrs. Emma Tucker Doss, age 97 of Lawsonville, NC passed away Saturday morning at Morehead Hospital in Eden, NC. She was born in Stokes County, NC on Nov. 10, 1910 to the late Ed Tucker and Minnie Lee Tucker Bryant. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Coy Lester Doss; one son, William Harvey Doss; one brother, Otis Tucker; and one half brother, Ausby Bryant. Mrs. Doss was of the Primitive Baptist faith.
Surviving are three daughters and sons in law, Eva and Mickey Corns of Stuart, Melinda and Billy Fulcher of Stuart, Judy and Ronnie Joyce of Lawsonville, NC; five sons and daughters in law, Glenn and Carlene Doss of Lexington, NC, Lester and Betty Doss of Fieldale, Carvin and Joanne Doss of Lawsonville, NC, Teddy and Geneva Doss of Stuart, Dale and Gloria Doss of Madison, NC; 21 Grandchildren; 30 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great Great Grandchildren; and one half sister, Dorothy Bryant Marshall of West Virginia.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 4, 2008 at 3:30 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart. Burial will follow in the Doss Family Cemetery in Lawsonville, NC.
