Mrs. Emma Lee Ables Foster

Mrs. Emma Lee Ables Foster, 88, of Mt. Airy passed away at her home Saturday, March 10, 2018. She was born in Sikeston, MO. August 31, 1929 to the late Henry Marshall and Florence Mae Voelker Nicholson. Mrs. Foster retired from Mt. Airy Vision Center and was a member of Central United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Richard Foster; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Harriet Ables; a step son, Richard Breck Foster; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Foster was preceded in death by her first husband, Wayne Ables; a daughter, Cheryl Ann Allred; and four brothers. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Central United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Muckler officiating.
