Mrs. Erna T. Williams

Mrs. Erna T. Williams, 84, of Mt. Airy passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. She was born in Videy, Iceland April 28, 1931 to the late Thorstein Magnusson and Svanhvit Magnusdottir. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Williams; sons and daughters-in-law, Clayton and Sheryl Williams, Bryan Williams, Alan and Melisa Williams; grandchildren, Jessica Hall and husband, Nathan, Christopher Thorpe, Sr. and wife, Bonnie, Maria Williams, Carl Williams and Corey Williams; eight great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Richard Williams and a brother, Magnus Thorsteinsson. Funeral services will be held at 2: pm on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Alex Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens.
