Mrs. Ethel D. Brammer

Mrs. Ethel Dillon Brammer, age 91 of Woolwine, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Rocky Mount, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Hillery Dillon and Maggie Agee Dillon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Archie G. Brammer; four sisters, Gertrude Harris, Edna Pendleton, Thelma Morrison, and Iris Mae Blankenship; a brother, Harold Dillon and a son-in-law, William R. Houchins. She was a lifetime member of Woolwine United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Patsy & husband, Lloyd Barker of Cornelius, North Carolina and Rebecca Houchins of Roanoke, Virginia; four grandchildren, Sherri Broadwell, Charles Andrew Barker, Wendy Bost and John Houchins; six great grandchildren, Dillon, Charlotte, Abigail, Margaret, Darian and Samantha. Her three sisters, Ann Barnes, Lou Hall, and Carleene and numerous nieces and nephews, also survive Ethel.
Funeral services for Mrs. Brammer will be held May 17, 2011 at 11:00am at Woolwine United Methodist Church with Pastor Sandy Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the Woolwine Cemetery.
