Mrs. Eula A. Marshall

Mrs. Eula A. Marshall age 93 of Laurel Fork, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Laurel Meadows Nursing Home. She was born in Patrick County on September 23, 1916 to the late Ernest Allen Stanley and Lucy Alma Stanley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Martin E. Marshall and three brothers, Wilton, Bedford, and Winford Stanley. Mrs. Marshall was devoted to her family and a long time member of Bellspur Primitive Baptist Church. She was a lover of ol' time country music, flowers, wildlife, her pets, hunting, fishing and a family history enthusiast.
Mrs. Marshall is survived by four sisters and brothers-in-law, Hava S. Heath of Claudville, Hester and Wilburn Lynch of Mt. Airy, N.C., Hazel and Johnny Dunkley of Stuart, and Guiwana and Lawrence Compton of Bassett; a brother and sister-in-law, Ledford "Pat" and Carol Stanley of Meadows of Dan; two sisters-in-law, Lucille Stanley of Claudville and Alda Stanley of Stuart; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Bellspur Primitive Baptist Church at 2:00pm with Elder Tim McGrady officiating. Burial will follow in the Bellspur Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until time of the service on Tuesday.
