Mrs. Eunice Scott Synan

Mrs. Eunice Scott Synan, age 88 of Richmond, Virginia passed away on Friday, September 25, 2015 at Huntersville Oaks Nursing Home in Huntersville, NC. She was born on September 5, 1927 to the late Luther Scott and Anice Foley Scott. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Eunice Yvonne Branham; and a brother, Brewster Scott. She was a member of Buffalo Ridge Pentecostal Holiness Church. Ministry was a calling for Eunice; she had ministered in nursing homes throughout Richmond. She had her own radio broadcast and Sunday morning television ministries with the latter being broadcast nationally.
Mrs. Synan is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Scott Synan and wife, Cristy, and Edwin Synan, Jr. and wife, Karen; several grandchildren; and eight siblings, Cecil Scott, Richard Scott, Arnold Scott, Wilbur Scott, Phyllis Hanchey, Greene L. “Deenie” Scott, Elmo Scott, and Elaine Scott; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Synan will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Buffalo Ridge Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Kenneth Terry and Pastor Mark Thomas officiating. Burial will immediately follow in the Scott Family Cemetery located on Luther Scott Lane. The family will receive friends on Monday evening at the church from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
