Mrs. Eva Mae France Utt

Mrs. Eva Mae France Utt, 78, of Mt. Airy passed away Friday, April 06, 2018 at Surry Community Health and Rehab Center. She was born in Surry County on December 5, 1939 to the late Aaron and Lucy Ledford France. Mrs. Utt worked many years as a seamstress for Spencer’s. She is survived by her husband, Glenn Utt of the home; daughters and son-in-law, Lynn and Alvin Seal, Brenda Brock all of Mt. Airy; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Dana Cochran of Mt. Airy; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Joan France of Mt. Airy; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Utt was preceded in death by a sister, Alma Marion; brothers, Cecil, Fred, and Bill France. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dean Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery.
