Mrs. Florence Clement Fain

Mrs. Florence Clement Fain, age 83, of Claudville, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017 at her home. She was born on July 2, 1933 in Patrick County to the late Raffie Clement and Sally Hiatt Clement. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Fain; a son, Delbert Fain; and one brother, Raffie Clement, Jr. Mrs. Fain attended New Beginnings Church. She had a great passion for gardening, canning, and her flowers. She loved her family especially her grandbabies and great grandbabies.

Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Dawn Steele of Claudville, Lala and David Mabe of Lawsonville, NC; one son and daughter-in-law, Odell and Glenda Fain of Stuart; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; five sisters, Irene Belton of Ararat, Girlene Dollyhigh of Mt. Airy, NC, Lorene Bowman of Ararat, Pansy Hunter of King, NC, Pam Wood of Ararat; several nieces and nephews; a special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Clyde and Edna Hill of Claudville; and a special friend, Lib Maxwell of Claudville.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastors Dewayne Troutt and Barry Clement officiating.
