Mrs. Fonda Jean Butler

Mrs. Fonda Jean Butler, 56, of Mount airy, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born February 24, 1961 to Roland Lee Chilton and the late Roxie O’Neal Chilton. Fonda always greeted you with her warm smile and her friendly personality. She enjoyed scrapbooking and making various crafts. Fonda was employed by NCFI for several years before her declining health. In addition to her father, Roland Chilton and wife, Imogene; she is survived by her devoted husband of almost 28 years, Michael “Mike” Butler; her daughter, Allison Butler and fiancé, Kamrn Bagley; her son, Morgan Butler and girlfriend, Brittani Stoneman; grandchildren, Tucker Hamm and Liam Bagley; a sister, Allison McMillian and husband, David. In addition to her mother, Fonda was preceded in death by a brother, Christopher Chilton. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Suite, 200, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
